Check out these sites for information how to set your mailer to only send plain text (not HTML, and not HTML + plain text). Plain text is the "universal standard" for exchanging content that everyone can read, no matter what kind of archaic/strange mail program they're using, and is thus Critters' standard.

If these fail, try Google with a search like "plain text" (in quotes) and the name of your service, for example: hotmail "plain text"
