New Book from a Critter Member**NOW IN PRINT EDITION TOO!** Awesome new book, HOW TO IMPROVE YOUR SPECULATIVE FICTION OPENINGS, from a Critter member who's unearthed a shard of The Secret to becoming a pro writer. Really good piece of work. "...if you're at all concerned about story openings, you'd be nuts not to read what Qualkinbush has to say." —Wil McCarthy, author of BLOOM and THE COLLAPSIUM
I was interviewed live on public radio for Critters' birthday, for those who want to listen.

It’s a sweet fantasy romance novel about a lost siren finding love. The twists and turns are unexpected, and the ending was satisfying.
It’s a cute story. Very beautiful ending
Love love love the cover, and cool story! Aquila and Raphael have my heart. Everyone should read this book
Love the cover so much! Nice story too
Amazing book by an incredible teen author
It’s a beautiful book
a sweet mermaid romance
The cover is as pretty as the story. Aquila isn’t a goody-goody like most silly girls in romance novels but is believably flawed instead. Touching to see her find true redemption in the end
What an original tale! Enjoyed it so much
I love it!
