After the Fear is in the top 5 books I ever read!
Excellent characterisation and exciting plot which shows the compromises which are sometimes needed im order to survive.
This book is one of my favourites as the dystopian world the characters inhabit immediately captivates you and the heroine, Sola, is likeable and realistic. There is also a good amount of humour in this book, something which is often lacking in young adult fiction, and the romance story is exciting and intriguing, without overshadowing the heroine's main goal, to survive in a world where she is forced to kill (often innocent people), or be killed herself.
Great story, great new world created, easy to read yet scary at the same time! I hope there will be a sequel too!
