Jeani helped me refine my story and make it publishable. She was always available to answers questions and make suggestions. The industry needs more editors of her caliber.
Extremely encouraging editor who offers good feedback, and is also willing to work with writers to ensure their stories are as good as they can be.
I think jeani rector should win because she is the most patient, and kind editor i have ever had the pleasure of knowing. She has an amazing eye for stories and goes the extra mile to encourage writers and ensure their stories are the best they can be.
Jeani is absolutely amazing and has personally helped bring my childhood dream to reality. Thanks for believing in me Jeanie 🙏 Much Love.

Jeani Rector has proven to me to be one of the most dedicated and conscientious editors in her genre. Nothing but the best is accepted for publication in The horrorZine, and that's what serious writers and readers appreciate most.
Jeani Rector works hard with poets to get things right and to express there full sense of what they write.
An editor who does more than edit -- she reaches out to help fledgling authors get off the ground!
I've been a fan of this mag since 2012. That in itself says a lot about the editor and her staff: to consistently keep a top notch publication going for all these years, and keep the attention of this reader who is known for his ADD. A lot of magazines in this genre have lost my allegiance; I check in with 'em on occasion to see what's up, and I see they've done nothing to move the needle. Horror Zine keeps the needle at beyond red.
Jeani was a dream to work with and her publication deserves all the accolades. Very professional and swift. I'd love to work with her again. The Horror Zine is one of the best things out there at the mo, and a must-read every month it comes out.
A most responsive and supportive editor, who checks treats your copy with respect and is prepared to negotiate any changes.
Considerate and helpful, Jeani works with authors to make their stories the best they can be.
