Many pro- and semi-pro Science Fiction/Fantasy/Horror short story markets, for various reasons, have a difficult time keeping to a regular publishing schedule. Sometimes it's hard for writers to know whether a market is even still in business -- sort of like dark matter in the cosmos (it may be out there, but we can't see it). This page is thus an attempt to let folks track "sightings" of new issues of the not-entirely-regular markets. Please report any newer sightings than are already recorded.

Note that we only track markets that pay authors -- there are too many "small press" markets (no pay/pay in copies) to contemplate tracking.

Well known, very regular markets have been omitted precisely because they are regular -- So no Asimov's, Analog, etc.
