Det. Lupèe: The Impossible Cases is a strangely different collection of short stories that focus on crimes of man against humanity. Written by a veteran storyteller, these stories are sure to entertain the true mystery fan as well as those with a love of language.
Such a wonderful and engrossing read!
James Secor is a very prolific writer. Clearly not everyone reads the same way so it is most important that the 'voice' of the story not only hooks the reader but also sets the appropriate tone, the intention of the author. Changes in voice are often necessary throughout a story but must be interwoven as to not lose focus. The voices of James Secor carry you from moment to moment as the plot unfolds making the reader part of the story.
An interesting exploration of language and thinking. I found this book well worth the reading.
Fantastic book. Better than Poe.
The stories deal with depression, anger, guilt and beliefs, which leaves me to consider about social justice, who to blame there, the individual or society.
James Secor is an excellent and entertaining writer. Loved this book.
it's a little different from other stories, of course i love it,exciting.
I enjoyed this book. Immensely! These cases are not confusing or filled with murders most foul. I like it, too, because these stories make you think. The stories are not cut and dried.
A very interesting and fantastic story worth all of us to read.
Not an ordinary book of detective stories. This work will tantalize and stymie readers by the eclectic, often bizarre way of solving mysteries.
Much success to my friend James! Louise
It is impossible not to to James Secor's writing.
Great discovery ! Professor James Secor, you are such a great writer! I love you!
Way to go, Jeevies! Finally, some recognition. But why Liverpool?
