The poems in 'Render' give me everything I love in a good book, CD or work of art. True stories, reveries of an older, hopefully wiser, person taking a different perspective on the past causing them to give others as well as themselves forgiveness, understanding and love. And when least expected and most needed - a brilliantly droll sense of humor!
Incredible, indelible view of life. His own, and this thing we call our world....
Render is a collection written from an honest, authentic core. The words are musical and passionate.
Collin Kelley's 'Render' is subtle, savage, sly, sensual, and a must read. Once you pick it up, it takes on a life of its own and you just GO. Enjoy.
