I am a pretty good editor myself and have taught university courses in English composition and creative writing. Judith B. Glad is the most thorough, careful, kind, and CORRECT editor I've ever encountered. There may be others as good as she is, but I'm confident there are none better. She reads intelligently and respects her writers' styles. I've read several books she edited, all very different from each other. She's edited two of mine and both are much better for her having done so. She deserves this award.
