Join/Rejoin the Workshop

Joining (or reactivating/rejoining if you've been inactive) is as simple as filling out the form below. (Please note that membership is unfortunately not open to those in the UK/EU, because of the GDPR. Sorry!)

If you don't hear back from me within a day or two with your new member information, then check your spam folder, and check that the email address you entered is correct. Check the Bad Address page to see if your email address is listed there as being unreachable.

You should add critters@critique.org and critters@critters.org to your list of known senders ("white list"). NOTE: I do not have time to handle sender verification requests (where your server sends back mail saying "do this to finish sending your mail"); sorry. If you use such a service and don't see a reply, add us to your white list and try again.

(Your real name, first and last; no pen names, handles, etc. We're all writers here, not readers, and folks want to know who they're really dealing with, just as if you were in a small, face-to-face writers workshop. If you're uncomfortable about this, try reading here.)

Note! This form will send you an email to this address to confirm that you've entered a valid email address. You should receive this confirmation in however long it usually takes for your mail to arrive (some ISPs are slow or in the throes of mail problems; most are nearly instantaneous). If you don't get this confirmation message within a reasonable time, you might make sure you're correctly entering your email address. Try sending yourself mail to your own address to make sure of that. Be sure we're on your anti-spam program's "white list" of acceptable senders FIRST, as I haven't time to handle replies to prove I'm not sending spam.
