Bonsai Twee!
An Experiment in Twitter Art

Between those cups of information network to share feedback with offices to annotate your phone...

No, those tweets are not spam. (Though they may feed off spam.) It's an experiment in "Twitter art."

Bonsai Twee is a random pastiche tweet feed of text from the trending Twitter topics. Like tending a bonsai tree, the program snips bits of text, and in this case, grafts them together. Sometimes it almost makes sense, in a zen-like way. It tweets a couple passages hourly, at 42 minutes past the hour. More of the randomly generated tweets are below for your meditation.

Bonsai Twee was written by Andrew Burt and uses the same "bonsai" engine as the Bonsai Story Tree Generator, used to write part of the world's worst book. You can try it yourself. You might find it entertaining for as much as 20 seconds or more.
